Le Corbusier “Citrohan” House

Rome University (La Sapienza) researched the work of Le Corbusier by creating an interactive model of his famous “Citrohan” house from the 1920-30 period.

Le Corbusier chose the name “Citrohan” when he was searching for a sponsor to realize the project and he tried with Citroen. At first it seemed like Citroen was pleased about it, but in the end nothing came out of it.

At the time cars were still considered quite novelty, which is why Le Corbusier was searching for a car manufacturer since his houses were conceived to be “smart” as cars, and because he had a general thought about cities that involved cars as some kind of “saviours”.

The scene is made from the transcript of a perspective designed by Le Corbusier in 1922.

The project has been carried out, with the contribution of the Italian Ministry of University and Scientific Research (MUR), in the ambit of the PRIN 2005 project entitled:

VIA - Virtual Interactive Architecture.

The research group was coordinated by professor Riccardo Migliari of the “Sapienza “ University in Rome.
It was further formed by Professor: Andrea Casale, Marco Fasolo, Paola Quattrini and Graziano Valenti.
Arch. Marco De Angelis, study grant, also gave a precious and valuable help.

Nykredit Office HQ

A production originally created for a special event at Nykredit (a Danish credit association) in spring 2002. It demonstrates the possibilities of VisuAll and how to benefit from stereoscopy using the patented full color 3-D stereo system from ColorCode 3-D. In November 2006 this scene was updated and water as well as a few other features were added.

Nykredit was very excited about the possibility to present their new large headquarters, in the center of Copenhagen, as a real-time computer model in high quality 3-D Stereo. Nykredit therefore decided to use both the real-time capabilities of VisuAll and the ColorCode 3-D system, which add true depth and perspective in full color to the visual and interactive realism in the real-time visualization.

VisuAll supports hardware accelerated ColorCode 3-D encoding, which can run on normal PC equipment using modern 3D hardware. The only accessory required is a specially designed low cost ColorCodeViewer™.This production was made both as a movie and a Real-time Rendering solution. It was first presented in front of 500 invited VIP customers on a 6 meter wide screen at the Nykredit headquarters. Later on it has been used for a presentation tour throughout Denmark.

Power Plant

Expo Pamplona

In 2005 the Ciudad City of Pamplona, Spain, produced an exhibition covering the history of Pamplona as well as plans for future of the city. The exhibition was also distributed in a virtual real-time version made by RGB infografia using VisuAll. The screenshots below are from this production:

Biolucid Exhibition
